Hi, I just joined the forum tonight and have a problem. I own a 2007 f150 with the triton 5.4. The truck makes a rattle sound when I back up with my boat and from what I have read it may be the cam phaser? It only does it in reverse and when the boat trailer is hooked up. It seems to come and go, but usually when I get back from the lake and have to back it up a very slight incline. If this is the problem I also read that maybe change oil to 5-20, I believe it has 5-30 now. I just bought the truck with 47000 miles and had the oil changed 1 time. What if I continue to drive it this way, will it get worse? If I left any important information out let me know.
