Hey guys, I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a 2004 lariat probably tomorrow, it has 124k on it but Its all I can afford, anyhow.

How can I tell if the cam phasor is bad on it? I'm not sure if what I'm hearing in the engine is just normal engine sounds or if its a sign of an internal problem??

any help would be awesome as I plan to go pick it up tomorrow morning
