2002 f150 5.4 ticking noise please help

I have a 2002 super cab fx4 f150 withave 150k miles on it and have noticed what sounded to be an exhaust leak. I have replacedone both manifolds and muffler and after spending 700 to replaced the manifold I want it to sounds good. Any suggestions on what this could be? And how easy would be to fix?? Thanks in advance.

You sure it isn't a loose spark plug?

Would I be hearing it coming out of the exhaust when I'm driving?

My 2002 threw a spark plug back in April, out in BFE with no cell coverage so I had to drive it back to town. I did pull the CoP and plug first, but you could not distinguish a leak in the head vs. exhaust. I had a leak on the manifold for 2 years, so I was used to the exhaust sound, and I had a 30 miles drive to town like that so I got familiar with spark plug sound.

You would have to have super-human hearing to pinpoint a leak in the head vs exhaust manifold...they are inches apart.

How did you pinpoint which plug it was? Easy to tell?
