Dealer put in 6qts this time around on the 2013 5.0 .. Anyone else have the same thing happen? Should be 8..

Dip appears full.

They got the filter and weight right.. so its not like they thought it was an EB

 

If it appears full on the dip stick, I suspect they put 8 in and charged you for 6 in errpr.

I had the dealer put in 6 in my 5.4 and then argue that is all it took. I made him look it up and he stormed back to the parts department and brought me another quart.

On my 5.0, I have had them put just 7 in. I put in another half quart when I got home. Why would they make an engine that holds 7.7 in the first place?

 

Yeah ive had 7 put in before, never seen 6.

 

Not that i would know, they couldve put 5w30 in lol, just reading the receipt.
