First off just a note great site . I have a 2004 F150 Heritage extra cab 4x4 with 4.6 v8 has 279000 km's always ran great . Started running rough and check engine light came on took to mechanic . Said he found bad coil as well plugs needed changing . Had this all done and truck ran better for little while then same thing again except much worse . Took back to him and he said catalytic converts where damaged plugged and broken inside . 800 to replace just part . We opted to empty cats to see if that helped out so got truck back and it ran a ok for 2 days then again has a miss and check engine light on . any idea's
