I need help!

When I run my truck to just under a quarter tank, and park and shut off. The horn beeps, and the "Battery Icon" and " Gas Cap" light flicker. Once I fill up shes fine, should I be scared.....because I'm shaking right now

 

What truck do ya have there what year what engine and all just so we know. Sounds like nothing to get worried about and if it is might be under warranty still? how many mikes are on it?

 

It's a 2002 Ford F150 V8 4.6 Litre, No warranty, 297,869 KMs.

 

well all I can say is that's weird. I'd try not to let it get low on gas. It obviously doesn't like that. My truck Does not have a gas cap light so I dunno. Never heard of such a problem myself..

 

Electrical maybe? Like a corroded plug or fuse...

 

Wonder if the GEM module is acting up.
