I think I recall seeing on a thread that the Holley was made by K&N. I don't know for sure, but the specs listed in the Summit catalog sound very familiar....

Holley advertises it as an improvement over K&N and says it tests better than K&N which leads me to believe that it is not made by K&N. K&N would obviously keep the best for themselves and give the worst to OEMs.

Thumbs up Holley

According to Holley, their Power Shot is made exclusively, by their own company. They also state a 5-12% increase in the air flow, over the K&N Filters. Holley only makes the drop in replacements, at this time.

I am going to go with the Holley, when it is time for a filter change.

Question

Where do ya get 'em? On line preferably. I called the Holley 800 number and got some local shop who said they only had Purolator!

The website only lists up to a "99 5.4 under applications, model 222-1. Is that the one we need for 2001 5.4Ls?

Thumbs down

Where? That website really sucks. I get errors when searching for Holley or Power Shot. I already have a K&N, I was looking for the Holley filter....
