a cool collar is a finned aluminum piece that goes around the oil filter & acts as a heat sink.
Just a little something extra to help dissipate the heat faster & lower the temps.

Have you read anythng about the Power Aid realy working? The blurb in the digital marketplace says it adds torque (which is very desirable) but nothing about horsepower. Looks like a simple piece to install.
