1997 4.7l Stutter Help!

Been having a problem with my dads 1997 f 150 it has the 4.7 in it with only 107000 miles. Truck has ran great till a few weeks ago, The truck just seems to have no power and has a stutter when under a load. The only check engine light is for a O2 sensor and the code is P0141. The problem is not a miss it will only do it driving down the road. I you hammer on it so it down shifts its fine but when cruising it seems to stutter. The truck has new plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter. i have tried unhooking the Map sensor and driving it still no change. Any help would be great thanks.

You have a Ford truck with a Dodge engine?

P0141 is for Bank 1 Sensor 2, which won't affect the way it runs.

If you actually have a Ford engine, a 97 doesn't have a MAP sensor. It's a MAF engine, not speed density.

I'd try a bottle of Techron in the gas to clean the injectors, take it to a muffler shop and get the cats checked for obstruction.
