5.8 rebuild

Was looking to rebuild my engine (250,000 +) and was thinking about doing a bore-job. Not wanting to go outrageous and race, but was looking for just a bit more kick. What size should I do (.10, .30) over that would provide a little punch without having to go really radical with other parts (cam, heads, etc.) and racking up an unwelcome price tag. What other parts should trade out with it and what sizes, including exhaust. Looking to keep with the current EFI set up. Thank you fellow fordies.

I know maybe out there on this suggestion,,, but why not find a 6.2 donor vehicle. If you want just more uummppphhh. I am not sure about the technical aspect of it, but since you have 5.8 going to the 6.2 "seems" doable with right engine and ecm wiring harness, and trans??? Not sure if your trans will fit to the 6.2???? Donor vehicle.

I am sure someone will chime in on the idea.
