I used to be a regular on this board and I don't ever remember one thread about anyone swapping out their cam for something more aggressive. Now since a Pontiac G8 is my newest project, I hear about it all the time. There are tons of options for cams in the LSx motors.

So has anyone done any cam work on their 5.4s? How did it go? I"m not looking for another mod on my F-150 I'm just curious.

I guess I just never ran across them. The ones you posted are after I quit visiting the board so often. But I guess I'll assume there are plenty before 2010 also.

 

I'm no expert, but I do read a good deal. From what I have come across, the LSX motors respond stupid well to a tune and cams. I THINK that might be why you see that being a huge mod for those motors over ours.
