Lightning & standard 5.4 differences?

Lightning & standard 5.4 differences?
I have heard that the only difference between a Lightning short block and the standard 5.4 is the compresstion ratio (lower on the Lightning for the blower) I was also thinking that I read somewhere that the Lightning also had forged pistions, or was that the Navigator? Does anyone have the facts?

HI!... MIKE O : I'm not exactly sure but I beleive that the LIGHTNING 5.4 shortblock is diferent from the standard 5.4 shortblock by having a lower compression (8.4) compared to 9.0, forged pistons instead of hypertectic ones, real forged connecting rods instead of the "POWDER FORGED" ones in the standard 5.4, and a thicker "BEEFIER" piston pin.

The lightning engine is supposed to be the standard 5.4 with a super charger and some other minor difference. I think the two engines are the same just the lightning has the supercharger
