2004 f150 FX4 front end pop/jump

My 2004 f150 screw fx4 is experiencing a pop/jump feel around 45-55 mph. When i start excellerating on the highway it starts jumping and popping. I can feel the whole truck pop several times until i get over 60 mph and it goes away. It does not feel like transmission slipping or am i dealing with any sort of weird rpm issues..

Does this sound like the coils are bad?

Has anyone else experienced this?

truck has 109k miles

That's a misfire - spark plugs and/or coils. If you have 109k and the original plugs, you are WAY overdue.

Ok.. i want to take it into the shop with an idea of what the issue is and not let them tell me what they think it is.

Do you know what the cost would be on getting plugs/coils replaced?

Plugs can be anywhere from $250 to $800, depending on how many they break. Coils are dependent on what brand is used and how much they mark them up - just parts can be anywhere from $100 to $700 for all 8 (which I highly doubt it would need).
