Post What is the difference between an XLT RC Sport and an STX?

I've been wondering what the difference is between a 2000 XLT RC Sport and an STX. I currently have a 5.4L XLT RC Flareside Sport. As far as I can tell, the difference between mine and an STX would have been about $2000 and a sticker.

I believe STX was the name used through 98, and Sport is the name for the same basic package used for 99 and 00. I know that there was no STX available when I ordered my 2000. Anyone confirm this?.......

Selva1....
You're right. Also the 2000 Sport has unique seat covers. The STX had the same ones as the XLT.

Cool

HI!... FORD4LIFE : A buddy of mine has a "98" F-150 RC stepside STX. The only difference that I could find between his "98 STX" and my "99 SPORT" was that my truck has 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
