Ok I have a 04 fx4 with a 5.4 3V. I just changed plugs and Coils, fired the truck up it ran great. I was running it for about 5 minutes then I had to shut it down to move my car (keys on the same ring). When I went back to crank it, the truck wouldn't turn over. It powers up but doesn't turn over at all, almost like the battery is dead. All I get is a click noise. What does this sound like? I have done numerous searches and the only thing I can figure out is maybe its possibly a PATS issue. I just don't know how this could happen when it was just running fine. Please Help.

 

Have you tried to jump it? Batteries CAN die all of a sudden.

 

What is the light on the dash doing?

I'd try a jump start or charge also. If you have a voltmeter, see what your battery is at.

 

It was the battery, couldn't find my volt meter but went to autozone and had it tested and got a new one. Funny thing was my jump start/battery charger wouldn't even charge it enough to crank it. Thanks for the help fellas.
