2001 f150 lariat rubber filler/vent hose

the rubber filler hose or tube from the filling neck to the tank is leaking right at the tank. the filler neck is fine so I don't want to spent $150-200 on the whole kit. I would like to just replace the rubber hoses but im finding that both parts or dimensions are almost impossible to find either from parts stores, online searches and definitely from ford dealers. there are plenty of marine/ heavy equipment suppliers around but not sure what I need yet. since the lines look dry rotted I don't want to remove them and make it worse until I have found some info. maybe im wrong but being flexible and old I don't trust an o.d. measurement since they might vary between types of hose I believe they all go by i.d. anyway? I use a micrometer to measure the solid tubes on the filler neck and the main tube is 1 1/2" o.d. and the vent tube is 1/2". I did find one place that happened to sell a 3' section of 1 3/4" filler hose but it looked too big and they only had that size in stock. it did look heavier duty than smaller fuel lines I have replaced on small engines so I also question that. can anyone offer some useful or important info on this subject?

I never tried a junkyard before so it never even crossed my mind but went to one last night and found what I needed plus a couple other little things and only spent 15$ so I was thrilled. thanx
