Yeah, its not my F150, but it's another vehicle i drive sometimes. 2007 Chevy 3500 Express van with a 6.0 V8 90k miles.

Lost all it's coolant today (pics below).

It was driving great. However, it was a little low on coolant and today after driving it about 20 mins, I was pulling into a parking spot and check gauge lit up and the temp pegged out. I turned it off and it had let out all its coolant right there. It seems a little further back so I'm guessing it's not the radiator. It seemed to be coming from the bottom, Nothing was wet above what you see.

Any advice? I don't want to go to a chevy forum. I've learned a lot here and figured Id ask and maybe someone has had experience with this engine. I had it towed back to my driveway in NY. Have to drive my truck to FL early next week and I'm just trying to figure out what to do about the van.

looks like the water pump?? but that wouldnt nessarily do it that way all out. all out coolant would have to be a hose,,,, or a frezze plug,,unlikely

 

it could be the water pump or the intake manifold gaskets are shot. I have a 2001 GMC Savana 3500. Worst vehicle I've ever owned. I've had it 2 years and have done nothing but fix it. Good luck!
