Whats up fellas I have an 03 F-150 5.4 triton V8. Engine is misfiring and I cant figure out what exactly my problem is. It happens randomly any way I drive. If anyone could point me in the right direction or help me narrow down my problem id appreciate it.

How many miles on the truck? How many miles on the spark plugs, and what brand are they? Have any of the coils ever been changed? No CEL? Have you checked for codes?

 

It has 206k miles and between 20k and 30k on my plugs and I have changed cylinder 1 coil pack. have not had a CEL at all and I havent been able to pull any codes at all either.

 

What BRAND are the plugs?

I'd put a bottle of Techron in the gas. If the injectors are dirty this will help clean them.
