5.4 Power

5.4 Power

I was told that if I wanted to add power to my 5.4 internally it would not work with my ac. they said it wouldn't run if I turned the ac on. Any suggestions on what to add internally and externally

I have a 1998 Eddie Bauer nothing done to her yet looking to maybe do some cams and heads with a set of new pistons and machine work, exhaust, cold air, and eventually a new transmission.

If you want temporary power to impress somebody, nitrous is the cheapest way to get mucho power. Another good way to get big power is to install a hair dryer on it. But either way, on an old 98, you might as well get ready for a rebuild.

a motor rebuild won't be the cheapest way to add power, BUT it will allow you to make some changes that Ford should've done
