5.4 3v miss PLEASE HELP :(

I bought my truck around 2-3 months ago and it was love at first site.. now its like living with a bi-polar un-medicated, pschizophrenic , mistress...

Truck info
04 F150 Lariat 5.4 3v, 100k miles,Roush Off-Road Side exit exhaust, DWV Intake mode, SCT3015 (on stock).

Truck was great for around the first month and devolped a slight miss, changed to Auto Lite Double Platium HT15. All was well for around a week or 2. Then got a missfire on cylinder 3, changed coil fixed for a few days then again.. Along with Bank 2 to lean. Took to a mechinac, noticed the coil connectors were in poor state (bad seal to coil) replaced and all was well for a week 1/2 until today.. and i got a P0300 Missfire code..

Checked FPDM when done plugs wasn't corroded through but did have a soft spot... Thinking i should clean MAF but any other suggestions..

UPDATE 05-30-13 Truck finally gave a cylinder to this round of missfire.. #8 also the truck will miss down low but once in higher RPM's runs good or feels to run good.

UPDATE 05-31-13 Added cylinder 4 to miss list tonight and only at lower RPMs..

well, I'm suprised it's run that well with those autolight junk plugs...

yes you should clean your MAF occasionally but I'm not sure why you are so frustrated with conducting normal maintenance on the truck

For best performance, and a lot less aggravation, always use OEM ignition parts on these trucks.

To put it a little nicer, the Motorcraft plugs have a better track record than either Autolite or Champion in our trucks. You might want to consider changing them to Motorcraft SP-515.

UPDATE:Finally got it to give me a actual cylinder and we its number 8...

When did everyone start being down on the autolites? Before i changed them i looked on various F150 forums and everyone seemed to the think next to the Motorcraft they were the best... Also i don't consider trying to find/fix a interment miss that has switched cylinders and sides of the motor normal maintenance..

No that is not part of any maintenance that I'm aware of...

You can try boots, but you may need 1 or more coils.

I know the OBS had issues with the heater hoses and the A/C accumulator dripping around #3 and #4 - is this still the case with the NBS?

Define hood seal? I'm guessing you are talking bout the piece right below the hood/wiper cowl? If so mine comes off almost everytime i work under the hood.
