2005 5.4 engine swap question

Will a 2010 5.4 swap in place for a 2005 5.4? If so what needs to be changed?

Yes thats a pretty much direct swap. Intake manifold and maybe a few other small things.

Be very very careful... A member did this and he regretted it. It was a nightmare

Might need to modifiy the harness for the newer COP's. (If it comes with heads?)

Physically no difference between my 08 and 09 5.4.

there shouldn't be any real difference. I've never seen a member post a swap like that.. Link please? there was a guy who put a 3v in a 2001 2v original truck that had issues. 3v 5.4's remained pretty much the same throughout there production other then some minor changes I thought. Dont know if the newer style cops plug into the old style harness now that I think of it. Might have to rig up something that way.. Might need that part of the harness.. might have to change the connectors.. but that isnt a huge complication I dont think..
