Eng. Coolant

sorry, it a ford but not a truck.
working on wifes windstar, just replaced thermostat but can't seam to got the air bled.

is there a way or bleeder to manualy do this

Jack up the front or drive it up on ramps, and let it idle for a while with the cap off and the heater on.

ya had it on incline with eng running and heater on

just could not get it to "burb" out the last of the air

although it did at some point while i was not watching and i had too much coolant in reserve tank because when the air did move- it pushed a LOT of coolant out and on to the ground

ya i knew better - i was rushing......

oh well job done, next onto the oil sensor
