hi
my intake manifold broke and leaked coolant all over top of my motor ..probably sat for a week ...intake manifold is replaced and my truck ran like crap ..went over installation..checked all my work and figured maybe coolant flooded out spark plug holes and ruined a coil..i decided to change the 2 coil packs closest to my leak (left side rite next to injector closest to fan) I noticed that my injector rail (right side closest to fan ) was leaking fuel ...tinkered with that got it fixed didn't change coils because I figured it was the leaky injector rail...started truck and it no longer is missing or feels like missing when I drive it ...BUT it is rough in idle sometimes and feels like it is lacking power ..my exhaust sounds different you know u can tell when ur truck isant at par ..its not throwing codes ...on a budget or I would have replaced all plugs and coils...what could it be .... can I mix and match plugs and only replace the one side ?? what direction should I go that would be most cost effective??

Blow your plug chambers out, -remove all your coils because coolant runs down the heads into each plug chamber until it eventually dumps over the top of the starter. The boots are most likely coolant soaked. If you don't have an air compressor, - get one, at least a little Pancake from HD or Lowe's The little Porter cables are cheep enough. Better than going to the dealer and cheaper as well.
If it turns out some of your coils have shorted out (very possible once wet), then purchase these and only these, -
