I am working on a buddies F150 4x4 with a 5.0L and needing to replace the ECU but there is a problem. In the ECU somehow the numbers have been rubbed off or worn off somehow and have no clue which one I need when i go to the parts store. Most of the stickers under the hood are missing so can't look there.
So my BIG question is...... Does anyone know how to figure out which ECU i need to get when i go to the parts store?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
