Yes! Took my 2001 S'Crew into the dealer this morning. I was armed with information as to why they needed to change out my radiator. It wasn't necessary. Service rep looks under the hood and says, "Yep, that's the standard radiator." No hassle whatsoever. And to top it off, they installed the 2.02" 2 row radiator.

So... call me a HAPPY CAMPER. I would note that this was not my selling dealer. It took half a dozen phone calls to my selling dealer, Lone Star Ford, to get them to hand me the stock garbage of "that is the correct radiator". I will never buy from them again.

Instead, I went back to the dealer from whom I bought my 97 S'Cab. They were only great! If you want to know the dealership name, email me. I'd post the name but they might freak out if 500 dudes show up wanting a new radiator.

 

Same here, almost. It took a little convincing, but I showed them the part # and asked them to look it up. Sure enough, I had the radiator for a 4.6. They ordered a replacement and put it in the next week; and I've got a '99.

 

I'm getting a little resistance on my end, maybe my dealer can call your dealer and work something out.
