So I brought my 06 FX4 to mechanic for change of plugs. He alerted me to issue with possible breakage. tells me do not change plugs unless there is a problem since they may break and than it will cost alot esp. "if we have to remove heads."

I see a TSB related to a poor plug design.

My question is this: if I take to dealer for a plug change and they break due to poor design do I pay for added labor for removal or does Ford pick up the tab as it was a design flaw?

 

Short answer...Yes you pay. Take it to someone with PLENTY of experience and you should be ok
