help! multiable misfires

help! multiable misfires

i have a 2005 ford lariet 5.4 runs rough skips and shakes #1 & 2 are misfiring and also mutible misfires is this a coil problem or an idle sensor problem or can it be both?

Since it's an '05, you need to check the injectors.

If you have never changed the plugs or if they have more than 65,000 on them, I would start there. Then clean the throttle body, the MAF and check the injectors for leaks. If that does not solve the problem, then replace the COPs. If the plugs have never been changed, they would have to be "stressed".

What's a engine skip ? Have never heard of this within any training or manuals. I know little girls do this, -for the most part. I can't recall the game ? Hopscotch maybe ? Or like a jump slide in forward motion. Not sure. How does an engine come into play ? Are your from another country, - tribal perhaps ?

Engines Misfire and as far as I know, -there's no skipping about it. Not that I'm aware of anyway.

If you have ANYTHING (data) supporting engine skip and it's terminology, -maybe I could be more helpful.

if i where a mechanic i may know the proper term but i am not or i probably would'nt ask for help
thank you to the other guys for their positive imput i will try the suggestions and let you know the outcome

I guess you haven't totally grasped the English language in it's written form either. Hey that's okay, -nobody's perfect ehh... Maybe you confused the truck with skipping class ?
