If and when I get the "slap"?
If and when I get the slap should I take off any aftermarket parts I may have put on?
I would hate to go to the dealer and them say so sorry you put on after market parts your out of luck! Currently all I have is an airaid, but would like to do other things i.e. headers and exhaust. My truck is a 99 w/ an engine build date of 10/24/98, I have 22k on it and I have no slap yet. The only thing that really makes me mad about the whole thing is when I was out of town and my wife put slick 50 in the truck without telling me. That made me all little angry cause I do not believe in additives.
If anybody has any experince with taking a vehicle w/ aftermarket parts to a dealer and the veh. is still under warr. please let me know if I should put orig. parts back on before taking truck to dealer w/ slap should I ever get it.
