2005 f150 5.4 v8

Ok quick question How much long do you think this thing will last??

I just got the trans rebuilt brand new, and will be changing the spark plugs soon..

runs pretty well and the body is in perfect shape... The only problem is that it is sitting at 257k right now...

I just want to know how long 2005 f150 normally lastes..

( its also a supercrew, if that matters)

I hope mine lasts as long as yours! As long as your fuel mileage stays the same and you aren't burning oil you should be fine. Congrats on getting that mileage!

See im just not sure about the truck, tho... I have not had it long at all... i think i put like 2k on it... I bought if off a rig worker someone who drives long highways miles...

Im just curious of how long will it last? What normally goes out first.. cause i know my trans mission was shot so i changed that.

It should last a long time yet. I had my 05 since November of 2005 when I bought it brand new. As of now it has 112K+ miles on it. Plan on getting the plugs done real soon. Only major issue I had was one of the injectors got stuck open. Ford replaced that on their dime plus the cat on the left side as it was related damage. Other than that the truck has pretty much been flawless the last 7 plus years of my ownership.

257k is allot of miles. Plan on spending money on it if you want to keep it.

Transmission normally goes first. Change ALL your fluids and keep driving it.
