I know there a probly several threads here on this topic. I found an 01 Nav motor complete ready to drop in. Just looking for some guidance before starting this swap. Local yard quoted $1,400 for the motor and a used stock tranny to rebuild for the F150. What needs to be changed to make the swap work? The local yard has a very good rep and offers a warranty also. I have a set of headers for a 2V 5.4, will these work? I heard they had to be custom made. Thanks ahead for any info.

 

It can be done, but IMO, stick with the two valve. A used lightning or HD engine.

you'll need to do a COP setup, you can use the stock PCM, i have swap notes. I was going to do this to my truck, but never got to it. PM me your email and i'll send you the notes.
