2006 5.4 code p0353

hope someone can shed some lite. got in the truck today , ran fine. heading home started this miss for awhile idle up. after about a half mi. or so ran ok. then noticed check engine lite on. stopped at an autozone to havee code checked it came up P0353 ignition coil c primary/secondary circuit. first what is coil c , which one is c, they couldn't tell me. truck has 90,000 mi. plugs replaced at about 75,000. you think this means coil going bad or ?. have been restoring old cars pre 60's for years but have never worked on these new fangled vehicles. any info or advice appreciated. thanks in advance

thanks for your reply; coil -c- is #3 makes sense. thankyou. have looked fornew coils. on ebay they price from 10.00 apiece to 50.00 plus. even sets of 8 for 40.00. looked at autozone oreilleys. alot of confusion. as i stated i work on and restore pre 60 cars.never work on new stuff. i understand you get what you pay for, so what is a good brand coil for a replacement. motorcraftat at ford 90.00 .whats a good compromise or is there one. thanks

Motorcraft COPs at RockAuto.com are about 35-40$ each last I looked. Be ready to get an entire set, when one goes the others are usually right behind them. (like lemmings...LOL)

You can take a chance on Ebay coils from Global Automotive or Uneek Supply, or you can get OEM Motorcraft from Rock Auto.

If you buy the Ebay coils, get a 10 pack so you have spares.

Duralast is better than the Chinese Ebay coils but not worth the price.
