2006 4.6L throttle body question

I pulled off my throttle body and cleaned what I could. I printed out the throttle body cleaning page befor I started. The download throttle body does not look like mine I do not have the IAC as pictured and don't see the EGR ports that he talks about being clogged up. What else should I clean? I didn't take the side components off of the throttle body that move the throttle plate becuase I don't know anything about them. What else should I clean? I have a picture of my throttle body if you click Photos at the top left, I am to stupid to figure out how to attach it to this post. Thanks for any help.

You have an electronic throttle, the cleaning page you spesk of is for the old mechanical throttle. All you need to do is clean what you can without removing anything. DO NOT remove anything attached to the throttle plate.

The EGR ports aren't in the TB itself, they are in the elbow adapter under it.

Thanks for the replies. I cleaned the body and elbow and all of the ports. It seems like it was a waste of time. At 83,000 miles there was some gunk on the surfaces but nothing was really clogged up. What"s the point of taking all of this apart? It doesn't seem like I accomplished anything. I did not take the components off that control the throttle plate, as it looked like that would be real trouble when you don't know what you are doing! Is there any further maintenace that I need to do, or if it ain't broke don't fix it? I did replace all gaskets. Thanks again.

Well, I don't clean my own throttle body, I have the dealer do a BG intake cleaning job at every spark plug change. If I still did my own work, I would remove and clean the TB myself at every spark plug change. I consider this part of a proper "tune-up".

If you cleaned what you can reach without disassembling anything, you did fine. As I said, do NOT disassemble the throttle plate control.
