Triton 5.4 swap to Lightning 5.4

Haven't really found a post about this in detail. So heres the deal I have a 2001 F-150 Supercrew 4X4 with the stock 5.4 engine (L) with K&N Cold Air Intake, great engine. But getting up there in mileage (191,500) give or take. I was considering rebuilding but started researching swapping to get more HP and torque. Don't have to worry about emisions where I live, so thats not a factor. I have some questions, any help will be appreciated

Will the tranmission hold up?
Engine mounts need to be changed?
Differential and driveline changed out?
PCM and different wiring harness?
Will it be compadible to work with the 4X4?

not unless you want to add money and time that's not needed

obviously YES, look at the number of threads with people having Eaton superchargers on 4x4 trucks

Heres the 5.4 swap "bible" https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...wap-notes.html

its what im basing my swap off of (im actually in the middle of a 4.6 to lightning 4x4 swap).
everything (including the tranny) bolts up. although i would recommend a tune after, especially if you go with the superchager. you can run the motor with the 4.6 settings but you wont see the tq/hp and fuel economy of the 5.4 without. For tuning you can do an internet tune for around $200 or (the recommended) dyno tune which is about $500 and includes i believe like 3 pulls on the dyno.

Good luck on your project and dont forget to post pics!!
