Good day. Just bought a brand spanking new fx4 with the 5.0L and put in the factory resonator delete. Question is why did ford have a large y-pipe, size it down at the delete pipe, and then open it up again from the muffler back? Would there be a bit better performance if you added a larger mid-pipe?
