Put it out like this.. Say I really want the truck but it really needs allot of work and I'm pretty strapped for cash. I can give you 300 right now if youll take it.. If he says no come back with the 400 and be done. Those deals are going to need time spent in someones garage with there tools and help.. Hopefully you got a place and a guy who will help you out that way..

 

Pull out $300 in cash and count it in front of him. And hand it to him and ask if he has the title. Pics work, front left fender will probably need replaced if you ever want to fix the rust. You can get them at the junkyard though.
