How much hp can an na 5.4 2v engine handle maximum without harming it?

 

What are you asking? Adding boost to stock internals?
I don't know much about boosting the 2v, but I would guess somewhere around 300whp on stock internals. Anything more than that should be forged.

3v's with the same bottom end come stock over 300 and lightnings with forged cranks but cast pistons are 380. I think a well built cast crank and rods 2v should be capable of handling around400 hp. if that the question. There was a poster here years back named Neil who ported and polished everything and did cams headers and all and I'm sure he got 400 with out forced induction. He may have built the bottom end with forged parts..
