For that price, if they are reliable, we may have a new recommendation. The only thing I'd be concerned about is customer service from that particular Ebay vendor. However, it looks like we may have a little inside help?

Well, no surprise that these are economy products at a low price. As we grow, this will be our economy line. They are made in China at a great factory that I personally visited. As a matter of fact, all of the cheaper eBay coils are made in China, so if any other seller tells you otherwise, don't listen to them. IIRC, I also believe some of the Motorcraft line was also made in China too.

In the future we will be sourcing from other countries as well, including the good ol USA.

We can't tell which products will be bad because all are tested before they are sent to us. We have no DOA coils. We have been contacted of two failures in the past six months. One after three weeks, and one after three days. Both customers have been taken care of.

The limited lifetime warranty we offer is real(limited to original purchaser, proper care, diagnosing, and use of the 2.5g dielectric grease we offer). however we are only offering as a special incentive it for the next 4 months (until 2013) as our company is growing.

They are priced competitively. Look at Global now. They are selling for about $59. That's the same exact product they used to sell for $99. They have plenty of business outside of eBay, so eBay is not their biggest concern. Every high volume seller will have a lot of negatives, but Global's rate is much higher than average. At this point we are already more expensive than a lot of the other high volume sellers.

We also sell to a couple regional small auto part chains and stores. Our shelf price runs anywhere from $18-$25 per coil depending on how much they mark it up.

Long story short, these are not Motorcraft, but a great option for those looking for a low cost aftermarket alternative.

As our company grows I will be pushing R&D for defective and discontinued products in the automotive industry. That was the reason why I started the company in the first place, but we need to be established in the distribution chain before distributors even listen to us.

My motto is professionalism. I don't frequently check the forums, so any questions see www.araparts.com.

Do you sell direct to the end user?
