I know it. Same problem he had with the old engine and he's went thru everything, -even a PCM swap.

Watch it be a plug wire routed wrong lol.

A harness problem would make more sense tho.

Honestly what I would do is buy a gallon of toluene at a paint shop it's like 20 bucks mix it with 4 5 gallons in your tank and drive it for half an hour or idle at like 2k for half hour that stuff works wonders. And if it's only at 2k m I would find it hard to believe its a wiring problem I would think it would affect it anytime its running but who knows keep me updated. And like I said that toluene works wonders it'll clean everything. Good luck.

Hi jbrew, remember me? Wanted to update ya on the truck issue I had last year... That mechanic had the truck for almost 8 months. Working on it here and there. Never could figure it out. I finally brought it home and started swapping parts out of my sons 1998 f150. Has same 4.6 engine. I switched entire intakes to both trucks and his truck still runs fine, mine still having same hesitation. It won't throw a single code and have even swapped the entire wiring harness and still no change. My truck now has an entirely changed out system and still has issues. Not sure what else to do? Is it possible I got a bad new PCM with exactly the same symptoms? Help!! Thanks
