Hey I have a 93 F150, 2WD, AUTO, 5.0.

I just done a complete tune up but it still has a little miss when under a hard pull. I have been using 89 Octane Shell Gas in it since I have had it but I also notice that the valves peck a little bit when under a pull. I put some GumOut long life Fuel Injector cleaner in it and the pecking stopped for about 500miles then it started back up again. I don't have the manual for the truck so I'm not sure what they call for from the factory but I thought 89 would surely be fine but I guess not. What are you guys running in your 5.0s ?

I dont have a 5.0, but if you get a knocking sound, get higher octane and see if it stops.
