oil in the exhaust?

so Ive noticed theres some oil coming out of my exhaust... I do have a bad exhaust leak at the manifold which is getting done this weekend! would this contribute the the oil i see coming out of the exhaust? or are my rings going?...the truck did have a bad miss for some time before I bought it. I will do a compression test when I do my exhaust but just curious if anyone has any knowledge on this....Thanx guys!

Rings or valve guides. How much oil is it burning?

Seems like quite a bit... The harder I drive it the worse it is.

It could also be a bad PCV valve - replace it with a Motorcraft part.

It could also be that the exhaust leak (if it's at the head/manifold) has cooked the rocker cover gasket. But if the oil is comming out of the end of the pipe, this wouldn't be the case.

Just a thought.

I'm going to guess excessive blow by from a stuck pcv valve.
Trying to be considerate and guess the cheapest fix
