New Battery No Start

Looks like I have major issue on my 2001 Expd 5.4. Went to start truck and Die Hard Platinum was completely dead. Fiddles around the charger and got it to turn over, but wouldn't start. Edge was showing error 151 call tech support. Called and they said if battery went completely dead it may have affected program, and needed to be returned to stock. Hooked to Fusion and he programmed it. Reinstalled in truck started to program and battery died. Come to find out battery was defective, and I now have a new one. Put new battery in, and Edge shows last program incomplete. Follow the instructions and it shows programming, 2 of zero, takes about 30 minutes, and say to disconnect and reconnect. Then it repeats the same process, as if it is stuck in loop. I hav checked all the pertinent fuses, and still no start. Truck turns over like a champ but no fire. Have a feeling there is nothing in the PCM.
Should I try Edge tech again on Monday afternoon, or just have it hauled to the dealer for reprogramming, and then deal with Edge later?
Leson learned though next time I have a battery issue, the first thing I will be doing disconnecting the Edge until it is running.

I think having the dealer flash it will be quicker. I think you would have to send the PCM to Edge for them to be able to do anything with it.

Ok. Just went through a reflash from EDGE. Evo throwing up message that it can not link up with PCM. Tried hookiing up my OBD-2 through lap top it can not communicate either. Will be taking it to Dealer later this week and see what they say. Hopefully they can reprogram. Edge has already set it up so I can return the Evo to original and then try it once Ford reflashes.
Whole lot of Ifs. If it wasn't for the tires and gears, I would not even mess with the EVO.
Dealer will adjust for tires, but claims they can not adjust for gears being the 4.10s were not a option on the Expedition, and the Expd is different than F150 due to AWD.

Finally got the truck sorted I hope. Ended up being a fried computer. Dealer wanted 1300 to install a Ford unit, or 850 to instal a reman from Orielly's. A little research ended up they were charging me 650 for the computer, claim their price was 450. I ended up buying it myself for 250, and taking it to them. They just called and told me it was ready. They were able to program for gears, but not tires.
I will have to see how far off the speedo is and then see if I put the Edge back in. I have a good mind to call Edge and tell them the Evo still isbn't working and see if they will make me a deal on teh CS, or CST.

Call edge and see if they'll cut a deal on a cs or cts.....you'd be better off in the long run and leave the edge evolution off the vehicle for now and don't hook it up at all
