p0304 misfire number 4, new plugs and wires, no coolant leaks, chatters quite a bit, new maf, truck runs very well, just a lil rough idle and sounds bad, that being said mash the gas its smooth and powerful, took plug out was soaked, it is firing thru the wire, swapped injectors, nothing helps, however i dont understand how soaked plug would let truck run good out on road, the chatter sounds like a rocker arm to me, cold hot doesnt matter does it all the time, i am lost on this, good fuel mileage, no smoke, just a 0304 code and idles like a miss and chattering

chatters and you mash the gas... Smooth... im betting you have a dead cyl. a valve may be bad if its chattering.

Sounds like you have low compression on that cylinder, You need to have it checked

At higher RPMs it will build enough compression to ignite the fuel just not enough at low rpms

Thats where i would start, look for maybe a broken valve spring, and make sure your lifters and rockers look ok

And if they look ok rotate the engine until the lobs on the cam on that cylinder only are pointing up and check to see if there is any up and down play between the rocker and the cam
