4X4 Help Please

hi guys i have a 2004 f150 and i am trying to find the location of the vacuum actuator that disengages the locking collar in the front hubs.

i have always wondered if my cv axles were supposed to be spinning when in 2 wheel drive, so i did some research and found that they have a vacuum powered locking collar in the hubs that disconnect the front driveline.
so i decided to follow the vacuum hoses from the hubs and found that is was disconnected and cant find where it connects please help

If it's what I think you're looking for, it's located on the firewall (inside the engine compartment). I think it's right by the battery.

If you search "IWE" and check out the how to's for the same, you should be able to find what you're looking for.

Hope that helps.
