Any write-ups on how to change timing chain tensioners on 5.4?

Ive searched and looked around and couldnt find anything comprehensive. Im needing to replace the tensioners and probably the guides on my 04 5.4 as it has gotten the darn rattle on cold start and its about to **** me off. I know you have to remove valve covers, timing cover, but after that I am lost..... Im gonna say you just dont take the old ones out and then put new ones in. I dont wanna mess the timing up at all lol

Most of the differences are to do with the valvetrain - the rest should be very similar except for part numbers.

PM Dynotech for more details - it IS his post

Good luck! And take LOTS of pics - be nice to have a 3V version of this procedure.

I noticed I'm getting this. Is it going to hurt anything?
