I am wanting to go with much more horsepower than I presently have in my 2000 F-150. Presently doing about 320 HP, WANTING 450 HP. I am trying to decide between a Lightning motor or a 5.4 DOHC from a lincoln navigator. I am leaning toward the Lincoln because of the smoothness of that engine. Anyone with any information on this subject? I like to have information from anyone in the know, in order for me to make a good decision. Thank You.

 

How are you getting 320 hp w/a 2000 factory PU. ??

The lightning would be easier.

 

The cobra base can be a PITA to work with. More costly IMO. But when it's right....
