Hi guys, I could really use some help.. I have a 2004 5.4 supercrew 4x4. Lately it has gotten to where it seems maybe as if somethings out of time? When it idles, it seems to shake pretty bad.. like something just isnt right. I am hoping that maybe it might just need new plugs or something? It doesnt really sound as if it is missing or anything though. It has 125k miles, and I havent had to replace anything other than oil engine wise. Has anyone else had this issue, or have any ideas? Not sure if this has anything to do with this issue or not, but a few weeks ago, While I was driving, the truck almost started making a sound that resembled a diesel (i know that sounds crazy) and running rough. It wasnt anything with the exhaust, it was definetly coming from the engine. Please help if you have any info!

 

The plugs are long overdue for sure and the MAF and throttle body need to be cleaned.

 

With that many miles on the plugs and the stress it has put on the COPs, I would go ahead and change those as well. You cna get a st off ebay for about $120.
