svt supercharger on f150?

I have a 1997 ford f150 4x4 5.4l triton.. And i am rebuilding it completely back to stock and i was wandering if my stock crank will hold up to the boost applied by the supercharger?

if your boost stays under 10psi...(& there is no real fun in that), you'll stand a half a chance. unless you gotten a forged steel crank shaft that was ready for a Lighting or some such. doubt that the run of the mill 97's were up for boost & Longevity.

all depends on how long you need it to stay in there...just a few laps or something longer.
