Bad idle is gone!!!!!!!!!!!
Well after about a full year I finaly got it!
My truck had the bad Idle and a miss around 1100-1200rpm.
I was cleaning my K&N filter and I forgot to connect the IAT sensor
(INTAKE AIR TEMP SENSOR) . So I drive off and the truck drives great with no bad idle or miss! but the check engine light comes on! So I go and check under the hood connect it againg trucks starts to miss and have that bad Idle againg. So I went down to the great ford dealer that we all love !!!!!!(JOKE) to se how broke this part is going to leave me!! $25.95 for IAT sensor . I hope this helps I feel great now that my truck runs normal again...

CURTIS,
There should be 2 wires that plug into your air intake tube. One will be the MAF(Mass Airflow Sensor) that cannot be removed unless you take the whole thing apart. The other one should have a clip on the wire plug that allows you to disconnect it from the sensor. That will be the air temp sensor. This will also be the one that is closer to engine, or further away from the air filter than the MAF.

Nacho:
Were you able to reset the Check Engine light yourself when you reattached the wire? If so, was it by pulling the Neg. battery cable?
I'd like to try this on mine to see if this affects my idle, but I don't want to look at the C.E. light for an extended period.
TIA
