Question rough idle & bucking

Second post - had email return turned off and can't get it turned back on, anyway here's my address ktadd@maxminn.com

I have an 88 F150 with the straight six, 5 speed and around 109K miles on it. Bought it 2 years ago from a single owner. It bucks severly when you have been at a steady speed and back off when slowing down.
In the winter it starts good but in warm weather it cranks a lot before fireing and then misses and coughs black smoke with a strong smell of fuel.
It lopes at idel and sometimes kills more often on hot days or warm engine conditions!I tried the JB injector cleaner and it helped somewhat but still lopes and starts hard when warm.

??? Could it be the injector(s) or just in need of a tune up ??
Thanks
kt

Smile Follow up to problem

I took my truck to the doctor and had it fixed.
It was the vacuum operated fuel control valve that
was shot. $170 later it runs like new.
Thanks to all those who gave their opnions of what the problem might have been!
