The truck has 60000 miles on it (100,000km) and I am having a problem almost like the truck is going out of timing. It only happens when I am driving at low speeds(like in a drive thru) I will be idling along in gear, then the truck starts to run like crap, drops in RPM and makes a terrible dieseling sound. Oil pressure is up, no engine lights on. When it does this, I put the truck in Neutral and rev it up and then it usually returns to a normal idle. I am having some cam phaser noise so can this be related? I did buy the extended warranty so I am hoping the warranty will cover this, but of course the dealer has to duplicate the problem. Anyone else ever have a problem like this?
